The 2023 Show Season End

The 2023 show season came to an end at the November Foothills show. December 16 we had our year end banquet at the beautiful Steeplechase Museum. There were 160 people that signed up.

It was our first year running the Tack Room Mini Derby and it was well received. Isla Hardin on Strictly Business was our first winner. We can’t thank the Tack Room enough for giving us $500 for the top three placings. They also donated a beautiful cooler for the CEC Medal winner who was Mabry Mull this year.

There were some other new divisions that drew some new members. Isla Hardin won our sportsmanship award. Our Parent Award went to Thomas Brown from Tally Ho who is a big supporter to not just his daughter but all the Tally Ho show riders, up early to help load, until the end of the day to unload. Marsha Baker was our volunteer winner. Marsha has helped make ribbons for some of the classes at the shows and decorations for the banquet.

We also added two new awards. High point horse/rider combination which was Isla Hardin on Strictly Business and Perfect Attendance won by Ali Grace who did not miss a single show.

Voxton Farm started the 2024 show year off December 30. Make sure you get your new
membership forms in for your points to count this new season.
